Our vision is to provide a safe, encouraging and inclusive educational experience promoting social, physical and cognitive development. Educate children to academic and social skill levels that prepares them for immediate success as they enter grade school. Provide a foundation to live a life of honesty, integrity, respect for others, positive self-esteem and to contribute to the good of society. Be a resource to parents to allow our families to reach their full potential in the community.
A Welcome from our Director
Welcome to Mary Lee Johnston Community Learning Center! Our center is operated by a Board of Trustees consisting of a variety of members from our community who have a passion for early childhood. We are licensed by the State of Missouri and accredited by Missouri Accreditation. Mary Lee Johnston Community Learning Center offers care to all children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years. Fees are based on a sliding scale and graduated by groups. Families are also informed of subsidies from the government. Located in the Benton-Stephens neighborhood, our location provides easy access from any area of Columbia.
